My able-bodied
assistants, Lucy and Arlo, who give me great pleasure when they're not
searching the MLS.
So here's the low-down. I'm one of the top
five agents in the Berkeley office of Prudential California. In a previous
life, I was a copywriter for advertising and marketing. And somewhere along
that 15-year road, I must have picked up some things about how to "package"
houses.
My listings in Berkeley and Oakland
typically sell well above the average sale price for the specific area. Luck?
Maybe. But maybe, just maybe it has something to do with the way I market and
advertise, which is a little different that the rest of the corral.
I'm not a cowgirl, but
I play one in my dreams. I just tend to think outside the corral as they
say.
And for Buyers? Well, in the same way I
package houses or properties for sale, I package Buyers. So they can be
successful in the hotly competitive East Bay real estate market. In fact, I
have a 90 percent success rate in multiple offer situations versus an area
average of 20 percent for other real estate agents.
Oh yes, and for those global thinkers out
there, I'm in the top 5% nationally of Prudential Real Estate--and a member of
the Director's Club and the Leading Edge of Prudential.

 "Every Cloud has a Silver Lining" You may
have read the recent market update in the SF Chronicle: "The worst December
since 1988 in terms of sales volume." That makes me smile. Because to me, that
means the worst in pretty much over. Yes, that's very likely the bottom.
